Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY

 Ensure that accounts payable data is collated and processed in a confidential and timely manner to assure the prompt and accurate processing of disbursements to vendors.  Accounts Payable experience in the Construction field is a must.


SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

·         A working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures 

·         Must have a working knowledge of computer operations 

·         Requires a high degree of accuracy

·         Must possess excellent data entry skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

·         Reviews purchase requisitions to ensure that budget codes are appropriate for the item(s) being purchased, and follow financial accounting guides and district policies.

·         Ensures that necessary information is maintained to ascertain which vendors are subject to 1099 reporting and generate 1099 forms.

·         Prepares all remittance information to be mailed with the checks. 

·         Maintains vendor files in alphabetical order with all unpaid purchase orders being current.

·         Communicates with vendors in reference to purchase orders and invoices to ensure accurate payment to all vendors.

·         Communicates with all departments to ensure timely and accurate payment to all vendors. 

·         Adds, updates and obtains vendor payment information to enter in the financial accounting system when necessary

Requirements

Minimum Experience Required:
  • Four or more years of experience in commercial electrical work
  • Must be familiar with proper use of PPE and basic OSHA rules
  • Must be able to provide his own transportation to and from work.
  • GED or equivalent diploma

Desired skill sets include:
  • Must be an excellent EMT conduit bender
  • Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
  • Must be familiar with materials, equipment and devices commonly used in commercial electrical installations
  • Must be familiar with common wiring methods used on commercial electrical projects
  • Must be familiar with basic lighting control circuitry
  • Must be able to install and make terminations inside MDPs, panelboards, VFDs, ATS and similar equipment

A Concrete Flatwork Finisher is a craftsman who has demonstrated knowledge about and the ability to place, consolidate, finish, edge, joint, cure and protect concrete flatwork.

·         Ability to take flat work pour from prep to completion.

·         Installation of forms for placing concrete and grout.

·         Assists in establishing grades for slopes, flatness and ADA requirements.

Requirements

  • Will be responsible for all maintenance and upkeep of our medium/light and trailers in our construction fleet to ensure the equipment operates safely and properly.  (Occasional heavy equipment repair)

The Superintendent is to provide on-site administrative and technical management of the activities including necessary planning, organization, direction, coordination and control for all field personnel in a manner that supports the profit and growth objectives of the company.


Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Supervise the operations on the construction sites
  • Monitor the short-term schedule
  • Quality control & coordination responsibilities with other trades
  • Train, manage and evaluate project team members

Randall Commercial Fire Protection Service Designer

 



Requirements

Reporting to the Fire Protection Design Manager, the Fire Protection Designer will be responsible to design and coordinate the fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial buildings as well as the finished representation for systems using drawings, drafting skills and tools. Manage the planning of a project including scheduling, creating material stock listing, analyzing changes, solving problems and total delivery of the project according to established criteria. Close coordination with all team members will be required throughout the life of the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review customer source control drawings, specification control drawings and other applicable specifications to determine requirements and/or feasibility of product
  • Sketch and perform mathematical computations to develop design and detailed specifications of components
  • Apply knowledge of mathematical formulas and physical laws and use conventional and computerized work aids to make calculations
  • Perform preliminary and advanced work in development of working layouts and final master drawings, adequate for detailing parts and units of design for new proposals and current designs
  • Revise size, shape and arrangement of parts to create practical design drawings
  • Prepare acceptance test procedures and assembly instructions
  • Assist with the preparation of proposal documentation, technical data such as qualification test procedures, reports, component maintenance manuals, etc.
  • Perform liaison function between engineering staff and all internal departments, including purchasing, quality assurance, sales, production, accounting, metal finishing and assembly

Surveyor Duties and Responsibilities

  • Quality Control by ensuring all work is completed in a craftsman like manner and to the specification, and satisfaction of the customer and / or Government specifications.
  • Monitor the financial status of each project such as expenditures. Identify financial variances such as under or over budget and implement corrective actions.
  • Completion of construction projects includes directing construction requirements; comparing construction results to plans; coordinating with general contractors; compiling and estimating change orders; scheduling inspections; resolving problems.
  • Show ability to consistently recognize and deal with priorities. Complete all required work in a timely and accurate manner and ensure that all needed paperwork is completed.
  • Responsible for change order request log, job transfers, work orders, and RFQ’s.
  • Hold staff meetings, billing meetings, scheduling meetings, and safety meetings with the crew(s) as required.

Education/Requirements:

  • Degree in construction related field such as project management is preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience is acceptable in lieu of college education.

 Randall Fire Alarms Division is currently seeking to fill a full time Fire Alarms Technician


Specific Fire Alarm experience (rather than general Security) will be a key differentiating factor.

Requirements

Responsibilities and requirements of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • FASA/BASA Certification current or expired in last 6 months
  • Knowledge of Programming Fire Alarm Systems
  • Game well /Firelight/Slight Knight Fire Alarm Panels
  • Perform new installations, retrofits, service & repairs on electronic & Analog fire alarm systems
  • Troubleshoot several different systems and understand how to split a circuit to effectively troubleshoot ground faults.
  • Back up other technicians for overflow calls

  • Work on call one week a month
  • Complete weekly vehicle reports in a timely manner. Maintain accurate truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
  • Read and understand complicated blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, software/systems, programs, and operation/product manuals.
  • Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with project manager, Dispatcher, Management, and Customers.
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize all tools pertaining to installation of fire alarm systems and the construction industry in general and associated safety procedures
  • Strong leadership and ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Great communication skills (verbal and in writing) for interaction with internal & external customers
  • Familiarity with applicable codes (i.e. NFPA 72)
  • Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
